Wait for It, Wait for It

Wait for it, wait for it. Stop and be still
Believe God will do it, and know that He will
Wait for it, wait for it. He has done it before
He is still able to do it once more
Worry won't do it, striving can't help
And you certainly can't do it yourself
Wait for it, wait for it after you've prayed
Lay down that burden and be on your way
Faith is the key to unlock the door
Faith moves mountains and so much more
Look back if you need to. See if you will
Find a need if you can y God didn't fill
Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart
Look on in expectation as God does His part
Hope in the Lord and keep His way
Give Him your troubles and go about your day
Wait for it, wait for it as your strength is renewed
Watch the wind catch your wings as you sail right through
Wait and be patient, take Him at His word
The answer was dispatch, your prayer was heard
Wait for it, wait for it. But as you do
Sing a praise so loud that all heaven hears you
Begin to give thanks for the blessing unseen
And see what great peace it will bring
